Raúl Ruiz
I was inspired an awed by the way Raul uses his installation of articulate oral narrative this is exactly what I want to do with my install story behind a story type of thing.

Robley, Ruth. "The Photographic Unconscious 1995." The Cinematic. London: Whitecapel Gallery, 2007. 140-41. Print. Page on a memory quote

I felt this quote ran true with my work as well

Written by Raul Ruiz

I remember an image from my native land, Chiloé. In front of my house, wind would move the trees. At a certain point the would blow with such regularity that one had the impression the trees were frozen in place, bent over in the same direction. (Not full quote)

I was inspired by the way he speaks of movement and the moment how would I want to capture the moment with in my own work is my piece of moving image going to be able to express the story i want it too?.
